Dear BCEMS (Pembroke), I just wanted to send you a big thank you for the excellent care you took of me when I was pinned between my truck and our gate on January 18, 2010! You responded in the blink of an eye. You had me up and safely tucked in to the ambulance’s bed with a minimum of fuss and pain. During my ride to the hospital, y’all kept my mind off my injuries. You even cared enough to call me during my hospital stay to check up on me. The doctors said I cracked my pelvis, and that I should be back to normal in 6 to 8 weeks! With God’s mercy and grace, I become stronger each day! I look forward to graduating from my walker to a cane next week and returning to my “school” family! Even though you have one of the most difficult jobs I have ever been exposed to, you all fulfill your duties with mercy and grace. May God bless you and keep you safe!
